The Atlanta Cycling Festival is a week-long festival all around bicycling from Saturday, June 13th – Saturday, June 20th, 2015.  They aim to connect cyclists of all experience levels to the Atlanta Community and provide a creative space for all cyclists of all experience levels to celebrate their culture together.

Our IR photo of cyclists riding the Beltline at Piedmont Park will be included in the rotating display of prints in the mobile gallery truck and other exhibitions. The truck will be at the Atlanta Cycling Festival closing party this weekend, with a show of photos specially curated from this week’s cycling events. The closing party is a bike-in movie.

#weloveatl inspires and empowers people in the Atlanta area to come together and share their love of the city through photography and other visual art. We strive to connect, support and build Atlanta’s photography community online and off and curate and present the work of that community in non-traditional galleries and installations throughout the city in order to promote love of Atlanta and support local non-profits throughout the city.”

We were particularly excited about this collaboration because not only are we able to contribute to the bike riding culture that we so actively participate in, but 100% of print sales go directly to support the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

ACFB procures more than 60 million pounds of food and groceries each year and distributes it to more than 600 nonprofit partner agencies serving families and individuals in 29 metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties.”

World In Infrared would love to extend a paw of gratitude to #weloveatl for the chance to be involved! Much respect to these organisations for coming together to make moves on such a community level!
